When does the app launch?
We're in pre-launch right now. Join the waitlist and you'll hear from us once — when the app is ready for you. We are not rushing this.
Is it iOS only?
Yes, for now. Us Unlocked is built for iOS 26 and later. Android is on the roadmap, but we are not putting a date on it until the iOS experience is exactly right.
What happens to our answers? Where is our data stored?
Private to your pair. Nobody on our team can read them — not support, not engineers. Data lives in EU-region Postgres with row-level security enabled and forced on every table, so a query for one couple's content can only ever return that couple's content. Any AI feature that touches your content needs both partners to opt in, separately. Enforced at the server, not just the settings screen.
What's the Honey Reveal?
The signature moment. While you're both writing, the card stays cool and sealed. The instant the second answer lands, the surface warms — a soft bloom of light — and both answers unfold side by side. It's the felt difference between a chat app and a ritual one.
Is this like Paired or Lasting?

How is this different from couples therapy?
It isn't therapy. We don't diagnose, advise, or coach. Therapy is led by a trained professional working through specific issues; Us Unlocked is a five-minute habit that helps you keep talking before things become an issue. They sit happily side by side.
Is this for new relationships, long-term, or married couples?
All of them. Questions are tagged by depth and the app holds back the deepest ones until you've had time. Some of the most surprising reveals come from couples who have been together a decade or more.
What if we go through a rough patch — or break up?
If you need to pause, you can. If you need to leave, account deletion is in Settings, and your data is removed within seven days. Your partner keeps only what was already revealed to both of you.
Can we use it without the AI features?
Entirely. The core ritual — question, private answer, reveal — needs no AI. Date ideas and suggested-questions are both optional and off by default.
Does Family Sharing work?
Each partner needs their own account. The subscription is couple-scoped — one purchase covers both of you — but it is not a Family Sharing plan.
